After two years, we finally made our way back to Club Paradise in Palawan. After first visiting this island about 2 years ago, we made a promise that we’ll be back with our loved ones. True enough we did but back then, we had other loved ones in mind. We thought that maybe our family could finally see Palawan and all it’s glory but to our surprise, it was going to be with our significant others! Verniece has been Ben and I’s third wheel during trips for almost 4 years now but all that changed now that she got a love life of her own! :) We’ve been waiting for this day to come!!! lol Finally we are four.
One of our favorite places in the world is Siargao and we’ve always wanted to find a place that could combine an island life type of accommodation and luxury service. Club Paradise offers just that! They have these nipa hut like type of rooms but once you enter, you’ll find modern interiors and extra little things that make it worth paying a little extra. The island is perfect for trips for couples too as it’s very private and quiet yet there are alot of things to do especially for an island that feels like you have no neighbouring ones.
They have the usual water sports hotels offer, a huge pool, a restaurant that serves buffet and ala-carte style to fit your cravings for the day, a front beach bar for piña coladas and the freshest buko juice as well as more unique activities like a hike to see the best sunrise and lastly, a chance to observe bats that has made the island their home. What makes this place worth visiting though is the marine life that’s just a few steps from the shore. This is really what Verniece and I wanted to show our boyfriends because they’re such beach babies! They both really love animals too so we knew that this would be their favorite part as well :) We stayed for a total of 3 days and we would snorkel every morning! It was fun chasing their resident sea turtles, schools of fish and we even attempted to hunt for sharks but failed. Thank God we did!
On the boys’ last night, Club Paradise arranged a special date for the four of us to mark the many double dates we’ll have from then on! It was a dinner by the beach and The stars were amazing that night so we didn’t need any more to be happy! :) The amazing food, the sound of the waves, the company of the boys plus a million stars above us were more than enough.
Ben and Alf left a day earlier than us because of work and we got to experience a bigger beach front room on our last day. It’s still got that island feel vibe just more spacious. Perfect for all the luggage we brought with us! haha Verniece and I tend to miss each other when we don’t get to have alone chika time even if we’re together almost 24/7 so it was nice to spend an extra day just the two of us :)
Till our next beach trip! :)
