We can finally spill the beans about our partnership with H&M! For the whole month of April, we will be wearing H&M pieces – head to toe, every single day to be posted on our respective accounts :) That means we will be coming up with 60 Spring inspired outfits in total! It’s the most we’ve posted for a brand to date and if this doesn’t prove how much we really love it, we don’t know how else we can haha! :P To see all of them, just check the hashtag #HM30DaysofSpring and please let us know what your favourites are ;)
Experiencing spring in the Philippines can be quite tricky especially when the sun starts to peak come March. A full spring experience entails pretty flowers, a cool breeze and subdued pastel colors. Some sign of awakening, of making our senses alive again. Yup, sounds hard right when you’re sweating all day? haha! When H&M challenged us to do the #HM30DaysofSpring, they also asked us to find 4 places around the country to experience the season despite the heat and humidity the Philippines is used to :) We first went to Tagaytay (you can find our photos here) and now on our second week, we flew to Cebu for specifically 3 places! Now Tagaytay’s breeze and beautiful restaurants did the trick but these places below we feel are the perfect ones to go to! You’ll be surprised that these exists here :)
1. Sirao Flower Farm. This made waves last year on Instagram and after that long of a wait, we finally visited it and for the perfect project too! :) Sirao Flower Farm is about 35 minutes away from Cebu City Centre and by just paying a small amount for entrance fee, you can experience fields and fields of different kinds of flowers :) It’s all about the angling when it comes to taking the perfect shot so make sure to go early so you won’t have so much photo bombers around you :) Also, wear closed shoes as there’s a big chance it’ll get muddy!
2. La Vie Parisienne. La Vie has been a tourist and local favourite ever since and they finally renovated the place to make it more beautiful! They’ve retained the original design of the veranda but they’ve made the restaurant itself too pretty for words! I haven’t been to a place like that in Cebu before so make sure to bring your camera! :) But oh, they charge 5,000 pesos for photoshoot sessions so just a tip: don’t make too much of a fuss so they won’t think you’re doing one ;)
3. Terrazas De Flores Botanical Garden Cebu. This place has been open since October 2016 but it’s in Busay and that’s about 30 minutes away from the city centre. Now there are more flowers to see here in this place but they’re not as overwhelming as the ones in Sirao. The weather (it’s a little bit cooler), the food, the service and the way the place was built makes it worth the trip :) They encourage photographs here just make sure not to pick the flowers or step on the plants.
What are you looking forward to visiting? :) Again, don’t forget to tell us your favourites by checking the hashtag! Plus we’re cooking up a special giveaway for you guys on the last week so watch out for that ;)
