Parisian Macao, Macao
Paris is on every girl’s bucket list at least in one stage of her life. It’s one of those dreams that are heavily fuelled by what is seen on movies, read about on books and even just what is heard about from other people. It’s got that magic that makes anyone feel all giddy and excited on the insides in all levels, that’s why I think it’s called the city of love. It doesn’t matter if you’re single, in a relationship or even heartbroken, it’s a city any girl would easily resonate with :) That’s why when we found out that we would get another opportunity to visit a place so near the Philippines that looks so much like Paris, we immediately took with us our berets and packed our hearts filled with excitement :)
From the plane, we saw that so much buildings were added to Macau’s skyline. This city was one of the first few destinations we blogged here when we merged over 3 years ago and we don’t remember seeing this much hotels back then! When we saw the mini Eiffel Tower replica from the sky, we already knew we were in for a treat :)
We already arrived at 11 pm because of all the flight delays in Manila and we were instructed to head to the VIP lounge. It’s a comfortable space filled with all day snacks and drinks for all VIP guests to enjoy and a staff that can cater to all your whims and requests. These little things mean so much to Vern and I! :) When a hotel goes the extra mile to make sure service is extended at 100%, it makes a whole lot of difference. I guess, that’s why Parisian Macao is a good alternative for those who dream of heading to Paris because that’s something you will rarely find there. The French are perceived to be snobby for a reason! We were then escorted to the 32nd floor, 3 floors below the highest, and into our Marseille Suite valued at 6000 HKD a night. If you follow us on Instagram and watched our story that night, you would know what part of the room, we were excited about the most – the view!
The room includes a king sized bed, your own study, a 3 televisions (one in the bedroom, the living room and in the restroom), a big common area, a dining room, a small kitchen, a powder room and even our own massage room! If only it came with a free massage :P
After traveling so often and being away for more than half of 2016, the little amenities start to matter. Most hotels usually skip on providing complete toiletries but Parisian Macao surely didn’t! There’s a whole drawer filled with everything you need for your stay and Roberto Cavalli shampoo, body wash and conditioner :)
The television in the bathroom allowed us to watch a show while doing our night routine! haha! We found it so cool! :P
All suites had it’s own set of elevators and they can be only accessed through those. Guests who stay in suites usually prefer privacy and they can have all that they want!
Here’s the lobby of the hotel that welcomes you right as you enter. It’s very similar to the one in Venetian Macao (it’s the same company!) but just as beautiful :)
This is my favorite hotel check in and out counter to date! Reminds me of a room that we saw in Versailles! :)
Paris is such an expensive city to go to and one that you can’t go to every time you desire but Parisian Macao has all the best parts of Paris. You may not be in the real thing but at least while you’re saving for that big trip, you get a taste here in just one hotel :)
