South Palms Resort, Bohol
A few days ago, our family flew to Bohol to celebrate our dad’s 41st birthday. We stayed in South Palms Beach in Panglao Island and the place surprised us because it was so beautiful! Little did we know that we will be welcomed with pure white sand, blue water, scrumptious food and accommodations that remind us of the reasons why we love sleeping at hotels :)
If it isn’t already obvious with our clingyness, our family’s relationship is more like a barkada. While we treat our parents with utmost respect, we also talk like friends to the extent they know all the tiny details of our lives. I guess we have our parents starting early to thank that for! We’re only 17,18 and 23 years apart so they’re very much just like us. They even have better taste in music! :P lol That aspect may be the best result their little accident (me lol) but there were consequences to it as well. With having already 2 kids at the age of 19, our dad had to fast track his teenage years and act like an adult right away. He had to work and earn a living to give us the best of everything so soon that I’m sure he missed out a lot on growing up as well. My dad is a man of few words and we rarely hear him complain but I’m sure he went through quite a lot of experiences to get to where he is now and where we are now, too. It’s actually one of the million traits that we wish we got from him.
Our dad is our very own superman. Our very own hero because he started with very little and made it grow to something I know he is very proud of. He’s our source of inspiration and our motivation to achieve so much at such an early age because if he can do it, so can we. That’s what he always instilled in us and we’re thankful every single day for him :)

Thank you to South Palms Beach for executing my mother’s vision perfectly! Now I know where I got my romantic bone from :P She wanted to surprise my dad with a special dinner and the resort worked on all the big and little details.
