Packing is one of the things I dread about traveling and to be honest, it’s not something I’ve mastered yet. I always manage to bring too much and no space for shopping once I get to my destination. Also, I constantly have this mistake of listening to weather.com that I always end up bringing inappropriate clothes that I end up buying new coats or new clothes just to not freeze myself to death! haha I think though, I’ve had too much bad luck the past two trips that I’ll make sure to pack clothes I can layer and always bring a thick coat just in case :)
Anyway, this blog post is the tale of the pretty green purse I’m carrying in this outfit post. Once upon a lovely day in London as I was walking through Harrod’s Department Store, I saw this green bag on display. It was quite heavy if you ask me but it reminded me so much of the bags the royals use that I didn’t let it out of my hands once I laid my eyes on them. Love at first sight so I left the store happily with it. I used it thrice while I was there and when it was time to go home, because of it’s weight and shape, I decided to hand carry it. On the day of my flight, I headed to the airport and checked in. Cathay Pacific noticed that I was carrying too much baggage that they let me leave some of my stuff behind… and because this wasn’t an expensive bag and prioritised this fluffy blanket I got, I had to leave it behind in the airport :( Thank God I have these pictures to serve as a remembrance of a bag I used to own.
