The Chedi Club, Tanah Gajah Ubud, Bali
Now that you saw just how YOSI SAMRA fitted right in the cultural side of Bali, let us show you how much it does in a luxurious setting. Steve and Janine brought us to The Chedi Club just after the trip to the temple to shoot a few outfits and have our dinner there. It’s listed as one of the world’s top luxury hotels so we were really excited for this. We also reserved our favorite outfits for it’s beauty! :) This is probably my favorite among all the places we went to. I really felt like I was in Bali! Okay, I’ve never gone before but I just knew that this is the reason why so much people love this place. The Chedi Club used to be a private estate owened by Hendra Hadiprana and his family and they decided to convert it to a hotel 11 years ago. It used to be a place for his summer guests and it makes me wonder that with the size of the property, how much guests did he used to have?! lol The private villas were amazing and the architecture was just as grand. There were Elephant statues and sculptures all around and was coined after the Hindu Elephant god, Ganesha. These pictures doesn’t even do justice to how beautiful this hotel was. There was even a live performance of Balinese music and it made me feel like a Indonesian princess walking through my palace! HAHA! :) Okay, my imagination’s getting the best of me again. I really wish this was nearer the main city but this was 3 hours away that’s why it was going to be such a waste if we stayed a night here but nonetheless, staying for a few hours and getting a taste of Balinese luxury was enough for me to want to go back :)
