Haslla Art World is a magical place that it deserves its own blog post. It’s like a Disneyland for artsy freaks like me who love to see something new as much as possible. This hotel + museum in one is such a weird place that there’s something so appealing about it. If Seoul or at least most of Korea is full of cutsey places that cater to the kawaii taste, this place right here is for the ones who just have a different taste palette. It’s not for everyone I tell you but one you get it, you’ll never want to leave.
The rooms here range from 200 USD to 2000 USD and Korean Tourism Organization exceed our expectations this time and booked the whole hotel for us – all 23 rooms and to be fair, we had a draw lots right before checking in to decide who among us will get which rooms. I was actually hoping I’d get the most expensive one just to see what the fuss is all about (I didn’t) but afters seeing what I got (I got a 1,500 USD one), I was thanking my lucky stars I didn’t get it cause the scardy cat in me would’ve died. My room was probably 100sq meters big and the biggest was probably 150. And you’ll sleep alone. Even if there are no scary ghosts around and I know because I’m so sensitive (nope, I don’t have a third eye lol), it was still too big for one person like me!! haha!
The place’s interiors were amazing and there are two floors down worth of museums to explore and its so big, it’ll take you about an hour and 30 minutes to two hours and 30 minutes to explore :)
I didn’t get to see the outside museum but here’s the cafe!
We were served a healing breakfast before leaving and it was so different!
Last two blog posts then I’m done with my Korea posts! Hope you’ve been enjoying them :)
Thank you to SAMSUNG and KOREA TRAVEL ORGANIZATION for arranging this trip. All photos are taken using a SAMSUNG NX500.
