Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
And I’m finally blogging about my Malaysia trip!! It was about 2 months ago when I received an email to fly to Malaysia and experience and blog about the first ever, MAZE CHALLENGE ASIA! If you were wondering why Vern isn’t with me, thankfully we were given another blessing to blog about “The Rumour” in Ilolio, we thought of instead of just going to one, why not separate and maximize our trip apart and have a lot of stories for each other when we get back :) Now that Vern has shared her weekend in Ilolio.. which i hoped i was able to experience too! Hopefully next year :) It’s now my turn to share you how I spent my days in Malaysia :)
To give you a little background, my first time in Malaysia was 5 years ago for an ice skating competition and I just can’t believe that now it’s blogging that brought me back here. I can’t explain how excited I was to actually explore the country with my mommy dear :) One of the many things I love about having a blog is that I get the urge to know more of the place to share with you. To tell you honestly, I’m really not an adventurous type of girl before but i’m glad the blog made me one. My mom and I only had 4 days to get to know Malaysia and I really made sure to exploit our stay so it’s time to hop on my time machine and explore Malaysia with me :)
We took this first flight in to maximize our 4 days :)

Thank you to Concord Inn for making our stay comfortable. It’s very close to the Maze Asia venue and to the airport :)
Our first stop: Sri Mahamariamman Temple! :) Fun Fact # 1: oldest and richest Hindu temple in Malaysia

While on the way to our next stop, we passed by the a lot of buildings where the exteriors are just so amazing. Just like KTM (Malayan Railway Administration Office) Building.
The construction just gets better and better!
We stopped by for some croissants and fruits before heading over to our last but most memorable spot for me in Malaysia.
Nostalgia. I still remember every memory of this rink :) You can watch my program in this link. It was honestly my favourite performance but please don’t judge! hahaha!
Coach Aiza!!! He’s one of the funniest person I’ve met in my ice skating life! haha!
The night was just spent reminiscing how we all missed Skate Asia 2009. If only we really could turn back time, i’d do it all over again and again :)
Concorde Inn is an hour away from the city so we’d have to take the train everyday. We started our second day pretty early to see the famous Batu Caves.
and.. Ta-da! One of the most famous Hindu shrines, Batu Caves!
Fun fact 2: The statue, which cost approximately 24 million rupees, is made of 1550 cubic metres of concrete, and 300 litres of gold paint.
Sadly, we didn’t get to climb and get in the cave. Hopefully, we get to see it next time! :)
I was having my moment with the birds and suddenly, I got attacked. Hahaha!

And here’s my cliche Petrona Twin Towers photo! :)
After strolling around the mall, mom and I had lunch in Chili’s and some desert in Harolds
We ended the day early since our call time was at 4am but that won’t stop me for having more sweets! :P
The Maze Day has arrived! Here are my essentials :)
Philippine Bloggers represent! I’ll tell you more of what happened in the next blogpost :) It will surely make you want to go next year! :)
My mom and I spent the last day in Avani to relax and eat (more). The place was beautiful :)
