Suit by PACHUCHAI HIPWEAR, Shoes and Hat from H&M, Polo from Mango, Bag from Valentino
I’ve always been drawn to suits and matching separates. When it first became a trend as a cropped top and a skirt, I always knew that those things would never fit a girl who has a short torso like me and this kind would fit one who I know was blessed more with legs than any other body part. Pants and blazers have always been my comfort zone so I consider separates like these a genius invention. Elizabeth Smith Miller was actually the first ever woman who wore them so if you bask in them too, we better thank her or else we’ll still be confined to skirts up to this day. lol
Anyway, New York is the perfect place to wear an outfit like this. I wish I wore heels but that would just kill me. The shallow side of me was jumping for joy because girls would literally come up to me and tell me how much they love what I’m wearing. Imagine that – I’m in THE fashion capital of the world and I’m getting all sorts of compliments! I wish I could’ve stayed longer and wore more outfits but sadly, I was only permitted 3 days :( My travel diaries on New York are coming up next!
