Almost two months have already passed since our Hong Kong trip and we still can’t believe that we were sent to Hong Kong Disneyland to blog about the place!! We’ve been so excited to share with you our experience and it’s finally here! :) We flew in with 2 other bloggers and we were so happy that one of them is a close blogger friend! :) Vern, David and I flew in the same time early Friday morning, took a cab to the hotel, went to lunch then straight to the theme park we go! :)
We just needed to have the mandatory tourist picture by the entrance! I’m sure EVERYONE who has been to this place has one :) Before entering, we had lunch at the Crystal Lotus Restaurant in HongKong Disneyland Hotel where they served chinese food with hidden mickeys or in the form of a famous disney character! :)
Almost all our meals in Hong Kong were setmeals. Our lunch had 7! :)
I’m a big fan of chinese cuisine and dimsums are my favorite part! I loved the Little Green Men Pork and Vegetable Bun!
David didn’t wanna eat Duffy red bean puree bun cause it was too cute! :P
My favorite would be the dessert cause I personally love mango sago!
Finally pictures of the theme park! :)
I love this sign. Its like a big warning of how you’ll literally forget about the present because you’re about the enter a magical world. Cheesy but anyone who’s been here can surely agree with me :)
Vern kept raving about how every single detail about the theme park. Everything was in theme and it’s amazing! It really takes you through different places and timezones :) Plus everyone seems so happy inside the place especially the staff! Their smiles were so contagious! haha
Before doing the rides, we got to catch the Flights of Fantasy parade. We’re 20 and 19 but seeing the characters in the flesh just brings back so much childhood memories :)
Ofcourse seeing the princesses were my favorite!!
Right after the parade, we rode Space Mountain located in Tomorrowland! They transformed the ride into a halloween themed one and brought ghosts to space. I forgot how fast that ride can get! This used to be our favorite ride till the we got to catch the new attractions of the park :)
It was the first time we got to catch the Golden Mickey’s show which is exclusive only in Hongkong Disney land! and we’re SO SO excited to bring Vern # 4 here! All the disney characters were present!!! Even Vern’s favorite The Little Mermaid and Hunchback of Notre Dame :) They never make appearances so Vern was really happy about it :)
OUR FAVORITE!!! We had a total of about 10 cookies each during our whole stay there. We even wanted to go back to Disneyland on our last day just to buy those! haha You can buy them at Toy Story Land :)
One of places we stayed in the most was at Toy Story Land which is asia exclusive and one of the latest expansion of HK Disneyland! :) All their rides were more appropriate for teens since we think they’re the scariest! We enjoyed the RC Racer and the Toy Soldier Parachute Drop. Those were our favorites! :)
So here is the RC Racer… and Vern is in love with this ride because she’s a big fan of rollercoasters! Me though, not so. haha!
We had dinner at the Plaza Inn that was located at Main Street, USA and the food was too good that we forgot to take pictures. We were famished! Right after dinner, we got to catch Disney in the Stars firework show. The show was amazing and it gave me goosebumps the whole time! I really cant wait to bring Vern # 4 here next year so he can watch it :)
And that concludes our first day at the happiest place on earth!!!! :) Can’t wait to tell you about day 2! :)
