My motto for this trip was “Technology hinders you from living your life.” and as a blogger, that motto was pretty bad for our blog HAHA! I was sent to Bacolod by the lovely team behind Yosi Samra Bacolod and I’m lucky that it was just in time for Masskara festival! :) I spent a total of four full days in the city and I fell so inlove with it – the food, the people, the prices of everything (lol) and the vibe of the city in general. the past four days have been so eventful for me that I probably have to rest for a few months.. HAHA! Here are the few pictures I got to take to document my trip:
Right after landing, my first stop for the day was the Yosi Samra opening and meet and greet they hosted. The place was packed with beautiful shoes, people and great food! I’ll be blogging about that separately so wait for it! :)
We had lunch at Imay’s then headed straight to Bacolod’s famous Calea. My friend who’s from there raves about their white cheesecake (I think that’s whats it called) all the time so I was quite excited to try it! He was right though, every single word he said to describe it fits it perfectly! It was heaven on a plate. And that’s what triggered my eating every 2 hours lifestyle in Bacolod…
We also got to try Cafe Bob’s and Bob’s in North! Their ribs and chicharon bulaklak were to die for.
annnnd my favorite! I think I ate at Chicken House twice a day. I couldn’t get enough of their inasal! I haven’t eaten carbs in two months prior to the trip but I would have atleast 2 cups of garlic rice every visit!
We stayed at El Fisher hotel. It was home for a few days for Ina and I! :)
We wanted to explore Lacson St. and Ina and I ended up here. I’m not sure what it’s called but it was so empty that we started dancing hahaha! Follow me on instagram to watch it :)
Our friends brought us to Ruins on our second day and for being the only tourist spot in Bacolod, it’s beautiful! I wish we had one here in Manila so I can take outfit shots there everyday! haha
Here are the people who made my trip memorable! It’s such a cheesy photo! :P haha!
My overused SOLE GLAM sandals during my bacolod trip!
The place was even more beautiful during sunset!
My bestfriend Ina flew in with me for the meet and greet (we’re each other’s stage bestfriends! HAHA) since Verniece couldn’t and I couldn’t have survived the trip without her! :) Its our first out of town trip alone together and I have a BIG feeling we’ll go on more in the next few weeks :)
Top from SOUL LIFESTYLE, Shorts from APARTMENT 8 CLOTHING, Shoes from YOSI SAMRA, Necklace from EVER NEW
and here’s an attempt to take an outfit shot of what I wore to one of the nights we went out! I was being such a bad blogger to the extent that I took just one set of outfit shots during my whole four days there. I brought everything with me from my laptop, my slr, my palaroid camera and even a portable charger for my phone so I can document the trip but I was having so much fun that only my phone left the room! haha! Words cannot even describe how fun and nice Bacolod was to me! :)
See you next year, Bacolod! Thank you for keeping me full and happy and ofcourse to Jill, Junjun, Patricia and Mai for taking care of me! :)
