If you follow Verniece and I on instagram, you would know that we spent two days last week because of the bombardment of pictures we did on our accounts! haha I think I posted a total of ten in two days! I couldn’t help it though the place was SO beautiful I just had to capture everything! :) I’ve mentioned that we were sent there by AntiStax to know first hand how it works. The brand allowed us to spend the 2 days relaxing, exploring the place while knowing more and more about the brand and the wonders it does to our legs. It’s relatively new here in the Philippine market so the event’s the perfect introduction! :)
We flew in Monday morning using Balesin’s private charter. The flight only took about 20 minutes! I can’t believe that paradise is just 20 minutes away from Manila now. Right after landing, we checked in and went straight to our respective villas to settle in.
and here’s our very own! Balesin Villa 20. I miss this room already!!
We had our own beach front view plus a jacuzzi for us to enjoy!
Right after settling in, Verniece and I went straight to lunch and here’s what greeted us. The food all throughout the trip was AMAZING.
Right after lunch, we went to Balesin’s Spa for our 1 pm footspa appointment. I honestly had no expectations but it exceeded even my wildest one. I’m a BIG fan of spas and this has got to be one of the best I’ve tried and not only because of its service but because of the location and scenery. I mean who can beat this?!
Here’s the little cabana we occupied for our foot spas. I’ll say it again, who can beat this?!
Verniece and I finally got to try Antistax as well!
Antistax’s cooling gel was applied right after our foot scrub and massage. This cooling gel is perfect for tired legs and the application is quite easy. All you have to do is just massage your legs with it at the end of a busy day. You’ll feel the relief instantly!
Those three pictures above showed our view the entire 30 minute session. What can be more relaxing than that?
Verniece and I went back to our villa to explore Balesin alittle bit more and take a few photos by the beach. At around 3 pm, we decided to head to Mykonos to take outfit photos, enjoy the view and try the food :)
I was told that Balesin’s greek food is a must try and now I know why! Verniece and I shared this chicken gyro and we were left salivating for more! We wanted to order another dish to try but it was around 5 pm already and we had to head back to meet the rest.
On the way back to our villa, we saw these signs and actually learned ALOT. Our legs are one of the body parts we take advantage of and we barely take the time to take care of them especially us girls with our high heels!
I was really surprised with this sign the most only because I learned that it’s bad to cross our legs. Did you know that? I didn’t! I’ve always thought it was normal! Thanks to Antistax though now I know and I’m making a conscious effort to stop :)
The sun was setting already when we got back to our villa and that’s when we decided to finally take advantage of the beach. Verniece and I hate the sun, heat and we don’t like getting tanned so it was the perfect time to do so :) I was so in awe with everything!
At around 8 pm, we headed to Bali Village for the event proper, dinner and after drinks. We finally got to meet the AntiStax ambassadors who are Ruffa Gutierrez, Tweetie De Leon and Cheska Litton. I personally think that these girls are the perfect ambassadors for the brand because they have such busy lifestyles and have a million roles to play in a day that they need something to help their legs feel relaxed at the end of the day. Plus I’m sure they’re in heels for most of the day because of their jobs so that’s another reason! :)
At the end of the night, they delivered Antistax samples for us to reapply and the capsules to take to conclude our first day at Balesin :)
we ended our night pretty late already so Verniece and I got up at 9 am. Pretty late for our last few hours since we only had till 3 pm to enjoy Balesin. The Antistax team gave us the whole day free to just enjoy and lounge around :) Verniece and I headed to lunch then explored their clubhouse. How we wish we could’ve stayed longer! :(
I was SO excited for lunch because I heard too that their japanese food is gooooooooodd! I think I underestimated the restaurant because I even have no words to describe it. It was that good.
and by 3 pm, we had to bid adieu to paradise. It was probably one of the saddest things I had to do ever. HAHA! After only two days, I was so attached to it already… But all good things come to an end and we had to go back to the reality of Manila. A BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG thank you to Antistax for the amazing Monday and Tuesday you gave us. Till the next event! :)
<3, Vern
